One of the most relaxing and refreshing spots at the Universal Orlando Resort is the Coke Refresh Lounge at Universal Studios. The lounge has been filled with several different Coke-themed experiences over the years, and I was pleased to serve as a producer on the recent In The Mix overhaul and update.
This major redesign of the space turns a refreshing stop for an ice-cold drink into an interactive musical delight. Transparent touch screens let guests control sound levels, effects, and even the elements of the tracks pumping through the sound system — all with a clear view of the pulsing play head on the wall above the Coke Freestyle machines. Swirling, dazzling motion graphics add to the depth of immersion and fill the lounge with colorful life.
